Phase 1. Preparation of protein mammalian expression vector (3 options):
1. Customers provide the mammalian expression vector containing the gene of interest. We perform large scale preparation of the vectors for transfection of mammalian cells.
2. Customers provide the sequence for the gene of interest. We will optimize codon, synthesize the gene (up to 4Kb), construct the expression vector and perform large scale preparation of the expression vector for transfection of mammalian cells.
3. For recombinant scFv/Fab production, customers can provide B hybridoma specific to the antigen of interest. We will expand the cells, clone the gene of interest and generate the mammalian expression vector for the gene of interest.

Phase 2. Transfection/expression of protein of interest in mammalian cells
Transient expression: a HEK 293 expression system will be used for high yield production in about 2 weeks.
Stable expression: CHO cells will be used to generate stable expression cell line

Phase 3. Purification
We routinely purify proteins by affinity chromatography, size-exclusion, ion-exchange, hydrophobic interaction and other techniques, dependent on customer’s requirement.

- Protein or Antibody labeling: We provide services for protein or antibody labeling by fluorescent probes, horseradish peroxidase, alkaline phosphatase and biotin, dependent on customer’s request.
- Endotoxin Removal: Endotoxins are potential contaminants in expressed proteins. Endotoxin may initiate strong invivo responses that prevent the use of these products for in vivo study. We provide services for removal of endotoxin in customer-expressed proteins. We guarantee the effective reduction of endotoxin level to below 1 EU/µg or even less and meet the requirement of downstream studies.
